Java Developer - Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Assist with enterprise Java development for our site analytics platform.
• Design and implement new Java components, modules, and subsystems using the latest technologies including Adobe Flex 2.
• Deploy systems on a J2EE application server utilizing Service Oriented Architecture.
• Assist with application configuration tasks on a UNIX, Linux, and Windows platform.
• Work in a team of 4.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology field
• 2+ years experience in Java development
• Experience with J2EE, JDBC, and object orientation required
• J2EE application server knowledgeable
• 2+ years experience in SQL and relational databases
• Open to learning Adobe Flex 2
• Optional: Sun Certified Programmer or Developer
• Optional: Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
