Software Engineers - Java, C, C++, HTML, SQL

Blue Oasis Technologies is recruiting for Software Engineers for a major technical company in San Diego. We are seeking individuals with 3-10+ years of experience in the following areas: C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript, SML, SQL, and application servers. For the higher end openings, experience with mentoring others, leading groups, and participating in the hiring of team members will also be included.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs and maintains the company’s software products according to design specifications.
Modifies existing software to enhance system and meet customer’s future needs.
Provides technical support to end-user. Troubleshoots, identifies and resolves problems.
Proposes resource requirements and detailed schedules for completion of assigned projects.
Assist quality control test designer in designing and reviewing test plans for the software.
Participates in team-oriented documentation, design, review and implementation of new software features and resolve existing problems.


EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience with a proven ability to support and develop software programs.
Proven ability to read and understand technical specification documents, advanced software systems, and write clear technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to follow and apply standard procedures on advanced software engineering tasks with a thorough knowledge of Windows, Windows NT and UNIX operating systems and one of the following languages: JAVA, HTML, HTTP, Javascript, or XML
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to organize and schedule work phases. May work independently or as a member of a project team.
Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
Professional demeanor.
