What does Twitter allow me to do?
1. Search for conversations about technologies for which I'm recruiting - these are the geeks I'm targeting! (http://search.twitter.com/)
2. Announce job postings and share job-related information with followers
3. Get up to the minute information about relevant HR topics (hiring trends, legislative bills passing, etc.)
4. Speak on the same wavelength as the techies I'm trying to recruit
5. Exercise my humor muscle and amuse the general public from time to time

Apparently, 2010 will see more than 18 million adults over the age of 18 using Twitter. If you're not, you're out of the loop! And recruiters, it's our job to be IN the loop... so fellow recruiters, get there!
