Seeking New Contract Opportunities
Hi everyone! Blue Oasis Technologies is moving in a new direction, and my recruiting services are no longer necessary. I'm seeking new professional opportunities, particularly in the area of contract recruiting projects. After some time off, I plan to return to work in late September or early October 2007.
I possess over 8 years of technical recruiting experience, primarily in the telecommunications and engineering space. My current recruiting focus is software engineering and most niches within the IT space. In addition to these areas of expertise, I have also recruited biotech, financial, electronics, sales, and civil engineering professionals throughout her career. QA Engineer
Blue Oasis Technologies is currently seeking a full-time, permanent resource to join the staff of our client. We are seeking an energetic, sharp, well-spoken individual to join a team of stellar engineers at a small, venture-backed startup in La Jolla. In addition to learning valuable skills in QA and perhaps launching a successful career in software QA, the successful candidate will be exposed to new tools such as Ruby on Rails and other cutting edge technologies.
*Participates in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts.
*Works with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve general questions during the testing process.
*Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents.
*Uses functional knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving basic test problems.
*Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.
*Documents all phases of QA process.
Required Experience:
*We're open to recent college grads with 1-3 years of test experience.
*Great communicators with excellent multi-tasking ability as well as strong work ethics is a must.
*Web application skills preferable and we are open to training individuals.
