Blue Oasis Technologies is currently seeking a software developer for a full-time, permanent with a financial services firm in downtown San Diego. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and integration applications for the firm.
Job Duties:
•Participate as a key developer on projects initiatives for portfolio management and trading.
•Evaluate and scope system enhancement requests.
•Participate in the analysis and design of new features with other application developers.
•Write technical specifications based on business requirements.
•Enhance and integrate internally developed and purchased applications.
•Perform thorough unit tests of application changes.
•Provide a high degree of communication with business analysts, developers and management on project and task status.
Qualifications:
•MS SQL \Server database knowledge.
•Familiar with Microsoft Reporting Services
•Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET.
•BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
•Systems building experience.
•Excellent teamwork skills.
•Dependable and focused on quality.
•Good oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
•Knowledge and experience in institutional investments preferable.
•UNIX, Java, HTML, XML, Sharepoint and Perl skills a plus.
